SMC Runs The "Kilted Duck" Poker Run and "Scottish Trial"

The club puts on the Kilted Duck and Scottish Trials. Usually on the 4th weekend of April at Walker Valley. In 2010 it will be on the 3rd weekend in April.

This fun event offers something for everyone. The "Poker Run" format gives riders of all skill levels a chance to win and the optional Scottish Trials offers a challenge to the most skilled riders.

Who are we?

We are a diverse group of people who share a love of motorcycling

If you enjoy motorcycles and want to hang out with a fun group of people with the same interest, come join up!

Member's riding skills and participation level are across the full range. We have beginners to expert offroad racers and a little bit of everything in between. Some folks we see a couple of times a year, others are out playing or working on the trails nearly every weekend.

If you are interested in joining our club or want to get additional information about the club or motorcycling in general, please feel free to attend a club meeting, or send us an e-mail. Print out the Application Form or go to the "Contact" page of this site for club address'.

Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month in the Shuksan Conference Room at the Skagit Valley Hospital. They start at 7:00 p.m. and usually last about an hour.

Annual dues for the club are $20 for an individual or $40 for a family. Dues are good for a calendar year starting January1st. There is no initiation process.

SMC Promotes Riding Responsibly

We run sound tests at all of our events to comply with NMA rules and state regulations.

The club is fighting to keep the maximum amount of riding area open at Walker Valley. The quieter all bikes are, the easier our job is.
